  1. I am using this receiver https://tvnation.com/products/tvnation-hd/ and I have recorded some programs from it, How can I play it on my computer or convert them to normal mp4. These .ts files are encrypted, I am uploading the whole folder.

If the videos are encrypted by the receiver, there is no way that you can transfer them to another media at all.
The only other way is to screen record the videos using a good camera or mobile phone.
Perhaps you will get better quality and is easier to do by connecting the receiver to your monitor instead of recording from the TV.

Edit: I looked at your receiver back and it has composite connectors. try to record the videos using a video capture device this might work.

  3. Buy a Linux based satellite receiver, which does not encrypt. Then, you can use TS Doctor for editing. All major videoplayers play TS files. Encryption, performed by your own device should be forbidden.
