I'm searching for a simple way to delete chapter markers within MKV files. I don't want to remove any actual segments from the videos, just want to have fewer chapters within them.
The only way I know of to do so in MKVtoolnix is by going into Chapter Editor, selecting the Chapter I want to remove (using right click then 'Remove...'), and changing the Start and End segments of the previous Chapter to basically fill in the gaps (I guess you know what I mean?).
Is there an easier way? Other programs I've downloaded seem to suggest it can be done, but I've not actually seen any descriptions on the internet on actually doing such a task!
