  1. Hi,

can anyone help a poor cat?

I have this drone .mp4 file:

    https://www.swisstransfer.com/d/a03a1720-9cd7-4a39-a0a9-20aa81b0a633

that strangely is not playable: it seems corrupt. Mediainfo don't report any information.

    Seems a dead mp4

Is there a way to recover it? thanks

  2. It looks like the file has been truncated. It's missing its moov atom. That contains all the information about the frame size, frame rate, video codec, audio codec, etc. Without that no program can determine anything about the video. There are programs that can take the moov atom from a similar video and append it to the end of the bad video. Try Remo Repair Mov.

  3. You can use
    https://www.videohelp.com/software/MP4-Repair-untrunc-GUI
but you need a working mp4 video from the same drone as reference file.
