I tried normalize about 1500 of my MP3 files with MediaMonkey 5 free edition. Result is not good.
Any suggestion for software for Windows 10/11 or Ubuntu? Thanks.

Foobar2000 is what you want. It works really well. It can be run as a portable program if you don't want to install it.
Copy all your files into another folder as Foobar writes the replay gain info to them (I'm not so sure whether this is necessary; whether it actually affects the original file or just sets a Replay Gain flag).
Start Foobar2000 exe
Select all files to be balanced>Open. A playlist will be created.
Select all files in the playlist
Right click> Replay gain>Scan per-file track gain
Click Update file Tags
Right click Replay Gain>Apply Gain to File Content
It will also level MP4s. Great for music videos!
Is there some software, that shows visually a waves of my files, for quicks overview before - after (normalize)?

finally I used Audition, result is very good. In about an hour I normalized all ~1500 tracks, with visual control.
Thanks to all for help.
