    Hello.

Here the situation, I've a movie (english and french audio tracks) + (english SDH and french subtitle) + (english forced and french forced). All of them are eng-fr identifiy

At the moment, if I put a forced flag for english forced sub it's working only because english audio is the default track. When I which to french audio, the english forced subtitle stay there.

I would love to make the forced subtitle to automaticaly on depending of which audio track is being played.

    Thanks

  2. Only one subtitle can be flagged as forced.
Anything else would not make sense.

FWIW in mkv it's certainly possible to flag multiple subtitle streams as both default and forced. IIRC there's been talk about it in Mosu's thread at the Doom9 forums. According to its language settings for audio, subtitle and/or even GUI, a player driven by firmware with proper language logics will act differently on wich default/forced subtitle is displayed.

My Zidoo Z9X for instance. Where up front I must admit that this box and the firmware "upgrades" are a PITA, where (old or) new bugs are (re-)introduced. I have it for 3 years now and most basic of operational functions and features that very old players already had onboard, are still not flawless or abscent.
Nevertheless, with latest "stable" FW, it does display different forced-flagged subs depending on settings at the "Forced subtitle default language" section. Where you can choose to follow "auto", "default flag", "current audio language", "first forced-flagged" (muxing order in mkv or BD) or a fixed language set.
I wouldn't know about SW players but I can imagine them also having such "language awareness".

As said, it all depends on a player's capabilities/possibilities to several flags set.

at the moment, here what I have :

Video (default : yes / track enebled : yes)
Audio 1 EN (default : yes / track enebled : yes)
Audio 2 FR (default : No / track enebled : yes)
Subtitle 1 EN (default : No / track enebled : yes)
Subtitle 2 FR (default : No / track enebled : yes)
Forced FR (default : No / track enebled : yes / Forced : Yes)

The result is Episode Start in English Audio (which is what I want) but the Forced Sub is also ON and I would like it to be off.
if I switch to French Audio, the Forced Sub is still ON.

I would like the Forced Sub ON only when the French Audio is selected, not always.

    Thanks guys

EDIT: I have this issus with VCL, Plex and Jellyfin

I don't use these players, wouldn't know how they'd handle multiple default/forced-flagged subs.
