  1. I'm running TFM and have a warning that my timestamps will now be out of sync. I looked at the time stamps document staxrip created for the DVD and it's a series of numbers. I'm not sure what I'm looking at. What are timestamps for?

    For marking when each element (picture, text, audio sample) is meant to be stored, and more importantly, presented/displayed.

    If I'm removing telecine, and using decimate to get back to 23.976 fps. Can I remove the timestamps as I'm being warned or should I keep them?

    You need to do it a different way, as those timestamps will no longer be applicable (except perhaps every second or so). Unless your timestamps are modified along with the change in video.
