I'm trying to download some videos from CTV Canada, but I found that there's no signal of any subtitles in either .srt or .vtt or .ttml or .xml format when extracting streams from the mpd file.
    The website URL is: https://www.ctv.ca/shows/love-island-usa/episode-23-s5e23
    Free to watch, only geo-restricted.

There is a Closed Caption button, but I can not find the exact file of the subtitle.
    Any help is highly appreciated.

The same situation in Crave, but their resources are both stored on 9c9media... So I guess the solutions to these two websites are familiar.
Discussing subscription sites are not allowed, but this CTV Canada is free.

  3. Grab the first MPD URL, change it from "manifest.mpd" to "manifest.vtt".

    Code:
    https://capi.9c9media.com/destinations/ctv_hub/platforms/desktop/playback/contents/2686247/contentPackages/6049342/manifest.vtt

  5. they dont include it in the manifest, but if you search in dev tools, theres a .vtt file served seperately.
