  1. I want to back a copy of a film on DVDr format that I made. If I want to backup this copyed can I just DVD Decrypt the DVDr to the HD and burn or will I still need to author? :P

  2. if you made the copy yourself how does it escape you how to copy it again? yes, dvd decryptor will work & i see no reason why you'd need to re-author. it may or may not be faster to simply copy the files to your hdd. no idea if you can do a disc-to-disc copy on-the-fly in any burning software

    It is impossible to directly copy a DVD.

    1.) DVD-R General Use is 4.7 gigs, DVDs in the store r 9.4
    2.) CCS prevents copying.

    What you must do is rip the vobs, then demux them into there mpeg streams.

    Then author a DVD-R with the streams you got from the vobs.
