  1. One of the diode types. The PN junction is made of a P-type semiconductor and an N-type semiconductor through a specific process. In the PN junction, through the process of diffusion and drift, the holes in the P-type semiconductor will diffuse to the N-type semiconductor, and the electrons in the N-type semiconductor will diffuse to the P-type semiconductor, forming a depletion region. There is a built-in electric field in the depletion region, making the potential of the P region higher than that of the N region.
    What are the representative models of common junction diodes?
