  1. If I ever knew how to fix a dcom.dll missing error in Mkvtoolnix this I have forgotten. My filesearch program shows 'kdcom.dll' in the file list.
Is this something for Windows 10 since I am doing the upgrade on Win7?

What is an old version that I can get that avoids it if I cannot make a patch?

  2. Found it.
The QTS version for .78 is in the archives list. But for me, how to remember it in the future?
I used the link to old versions from Videohelp software list.
One of the older versions has a subscript that says for Win7. I took a chance that these QTS versions are similar.

  4. Yes I think I read that the last time I had the problem. I'm just talking about indicating Win7 in the titling or some such.
    Thanks for answering
