  1. Lookng for a "stand alone" application or utility that will enable me to view detailed information about any "CODECs" that are installed on a typical Windows OS. Mostly dealing with Windows 10 and 11. Yes I know I can get codec info of a video FILE from some "Media Player" apps. I'm not looking to see what Codec was used for the creation of a video. But rather what Codecs are installed and working in my system.

    Need something more than what Windows itself reports ?

    Otherwise >> Start > type 'System Information' > Components > Multimedia > Video Codecs (or Audio Codecs)
