HI everyone i need to know if it is possible to download videos from snapchat website can it be done i remember last year on tv on a news channel one of the news people said something about snapchat be able to watch the videos online like done the same way as youtube. the person on the news channel was on about it doing it like youtube site saying that on a news channel were people can watch snapchat videos and upload them done like youtube. the person said on the news about that you dont need to install it on a phone anymore to watch snapchat videos you just watch it on the web done like youtube were you watch and upload videos. so can you watch snapchat videos off there site and download them there was on about it doing a snapchat website were people can watch and upload videos to the snapchat website. so has that been done is there anyway possible to download snapchat videos if it can be done how. i just checked the website and it asks you to login how do you register with the site it asks you to login and use a phone number so is there a way around it.

i see only chrome and edge browsers are supported i guess they use widevine L3 correct?

I don't get it. Or maybe in other words, I don't think they would use Widevine.

My thought is: why would such platforms such as Snapchat or maybe Tiktok would use such a complicated and sophisticated technique to protect those user-generated contents? They're not like, for example, Max's 4K UHD movies.
