Hello, I wonder how I can increase Video Decode to speed up encoding?
I use QSVEnc for encode, which can reach 200fps with that setting. (--avhw --cqp 19:20:22 --profile high --level 5.2 --output-thread 1)
Anyone can help me? Thanks for your reply

I see you are using the Intel HD Graphics 530
Perhaps using a GPU with more VRAM can help. -
other setting anything without buying new VGA? lol
I can't set more vram because I set max of this. -
You don't have to buy a GPU to test.
Use Google Colab resources
https://www.tutorialspoint.com/google_colab/google_colab_using_free_gpu.htm
I haven't been able to try Colab because my Google Drive got corrupted.
Let me know if this helps. -

Try a counter-intuitive thing - switch to sw-decoder instead of hw-assisted one.
The overhead of sending data between GPU and CPU often too big and turns supposed speed advantage into a disadvantage. -
Follow transcode guidelines https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Hardware/QuickSync if you not using any filter requiring CPU then this is fastest path.
