Hi!
I was given a VCR in order to digitize lots of family VHS tapes. In a small test of it I could verify it was working (view some minutes of a video, FF and REW, etc).
It was not in a good looking condition (dirty and smashed, with some bumps), so I removed the top cover and the metallic bottom plate, I hammered to straighten them, removed some rust and cleaned them.
After mounting the covers again, I couldn't get the right image, only the sound is OK. It looks like something went out of sync (see attachment).
Where should I look?
I touched nothing while it was open. There was no significant dust inside. Even the battery was OK (the clock was about 10 minutes off time). The on-screen setup menu works OK.
BTW, this is a Panasonic NV-HD620PM NTSC model.
Thanks a lot!
