I was using Pinnacle Studio 24 for my video edits for quite some time now.

It looks like it's quite advanced and profesional with a lot of features. But a lot of features are verry buggy. And therefore the entire editing process can be verry annoying and time consuming. This software is verry glitchy...

I would like start over with new software now. I've searched Google for this a few times, but there're a lot of alternatives out there. And a lot of them claim to be the "best". So it's actually a bit confusing which to pick. I would like to pick editing software which I would like to stick with now. And not diving into a new "learning curve" to get familiar with the software, to find out later that it's glitchy as hell again, like Pinnacle...

One of the things I liked from Pinnacle is the title editor, to make some custom start screens with etc. I would like to have some feature like that in the new software as well. It would be totally awesome if there would be a possibility to convert/insert my existing creations. But that's probably wishful thinking.

I should be willing to pay for it, but not over hundreds of dollars/euro's.

Anyone has some great suggestions or alternatives to Pinnacle Studio?

    Thanks in advance

Look at the selections available through the software section of this site.

Shotcut, KdenLive, VSDC are often discussed here with (mostly) favorable reports

There is a newer version of Pinnacle Studio 26 with trial option. Perhaps you can start with that.
Magix GmBH has several video editors of various prices and they always send me some attractive offers with discounts.

Dove into these together with Davinci, also considering the pro versions.
But I must say that VSDC looks promising so far

    Edit:
Oh just now see that VSDC only has a yearly subscription of the PRO version...
In that case, think I'm going for the Davinci free version, and maybe going to invest later on in the Studio version...
