how to convert mpeg1 - 2 mpeg2 plz

i have lots of mpeg 1 s not having much joy in changing them to mpe2 dvd compliant plz can you help ?

are you trying to covert your VCDs to SVCDs or DVDs..since they are both variations of MPEG-2....

also, why are you even doing that in the first place? the MPEG-1 VCDs you have already lost alot of quality during encoding when it was compressed into MPEG-1 format...converting it to SVCD or DVD format wouldn't do you any good in terms of quality...it might even get worse
