    I burnt a SVCD the other day, and then I played it in my DVD Player. And if i use the search function the sound and video are all off. I am goin to put chapters in it to hopefully be able to scan through, but why does it do this when I scan through it?

    You should check your manual to see if the hardware player has sound playback during a ff/rew operation. A lot of players don't support this for vcd/svcd and will only allow it for dvd playback.
