need to download videos from stv player site

hi i am new to this site i would like to know how do you download videos from stv player site player.stv.tv

the videos i want to download is a tv series called litvinenko

that is episode 1 on the site it says you have to sign in to watch but i read online that they use drm is that true or not and is the site in scotland or can you watch that anyway without a vpn like bbc iplayer site you can watch that anywhere in england but not outside of england

is there anyway possible to download the stv player videos without a account for the site
you can get the urls of the series or movies off the site but is there anyway to download them with a free or paid software thanks
