    Hello,
Is it currently possible to get Widevine protected content at L1 level without an android device?
There is software and especially scripts like the "36th" that exist, but how do you get those famous L1 keys to decrypt content?
A lot of scammers are doing business around this subject, as pitiful as they may be, is it possible to find real sellers?
Thank you all for your kindness, despite my new account and my busy WEB life.

What a script may i say.
The Holy Grail is in my possession, at least I hope it is, but as I don't have a key to test it, I can't confirm it.
The person who sent it to me also gave me the keys for a D+ episode in 2160p DV and I was able to decrypt it. But he seemed to be part of a network of scammers so I didn't go any further in buying keys.

So I've got the supercar but not the keys to start it.

Which is a pity for regional content sharing, which either falls by the wayside or is released by the wrong groups. Which is why I'm here, to redress the balance, as was the case in the golden age of BluRay.

  5. So you think you are a hero if you once manage to steal more/better/the "right" things than the other "groups"? What a point of view.

Not a hero, you misunderstand. International groups are the best, and there's nothing wrong with their magnificent work.
What's disturbing and lacking in good practice are the regional groups, who don't get properly involved in their work.
There are also a lot of works that fall through the cracks and are never released and then removed from the catalogs. Remedying this would be the best thing for cultural sharing. That's why I'm involved on a daily basis.

I like to have constructive discussions, which is not the case here. If you have nothing to teach me, try to go and enjoy life instead of flood. It seemed to me that I could discuss with mature people.

  9. Oh, I could teach you a lot... f. e. that one shall not steal. That's a VERY old common agreed law, you know... And if someone think this is THAT normal how you seem to think, he is in my eyes a little brain-washed - and not mature at all.
I am 60 meanwhile and worked in film business for almost two decades. People like you and your "groups" stole me personally all in all about two complete houses - and this even if I think that just every 10th to 20th who STOLE our releases would have bought it instead!
If there was a way to prosecute you all, none of you thieves would feel so wonderful self-assured and "hero-like" - the only reason why you feel that cool and heroic is, that there is none.

The long consequences of you, your "groups", and your in-seconds-automatically-download-convert-upload-(what you call "release"...)-mechanisms are logical - to mature people: Less money for producing real good content, because stolen by thieves. Logical, isn't it? Hope I didn't teach you too much.

    That explains it!
How many articles debunk your very personal way of looking at things. Access to works seems to have to be paid for, even for those who can't afford it. So you have to be rich to be able to cultivate yourself? Nice mentality, as crazy as ours in the end.
You protect your copyrights, we protect the rights to knowledge.
Your cinema tickets are expensive, too expensive. The public services here charge exorbitant taxes, with 1/4 of the ticket price ultimately going to the cinema. The rest goes to finance films, which are rarely good in my country.

Then came the heyday of Blu-ray, again at astronomical prices, and in the end you have to limit yourself, select what you can see and therefore restrict your culture. 30€ on average for a Blu-ray, even more for 4K.

Since COVID, streaming services have taken over. Everyone has copied Netflix and opened their own paid services. You still have to put your money here and there to be able to cultivate yourself, or even select.
What killed cinema recently was the idiots who released their films on streaming and in cinemas at the same time. They've made people want to watch films at home and stop paying for tickets.

Don't blame the wrong people, we have our share of responsibility, but it's minimal compared to the choices made by company directors.
This includes choices of script, distribution, etc...
I've worked in production, produced, directed and designed film projects. If it's been pirated, it's a plus for the visibility of the work and what the public will think of it.
There's no loss due to piracy, it's a loss of earnings, something fictitious, and given cinema admissions in general, we have no impact on production costs or the exorbitant salaries of headliners.
Many people buy discs or digital formats of films they've pirated. First of all, to make up their own minds, and then to fill their libraries with favorites.
Get to know your audience, listen to them, and you'll see. Everything will be better.
    Have a good trip.

  11. I sympathize with some of your "arguments" - that I all know very well since decades. I had these discussions a lot of times in my native language - I will not discuss these complex things in English. It doesn't make sense. It WOULD make sense if

-we'd both had the same language
-met in person, not via online writing
    -drank some beer
    -talked many hours

Then maybe you could understand - I already can understand your arguments, and always did.
In the last consequence you are absolutely wrong (and kind of brain-washed), but - again - that is impossible to make clear here.

  14. We should be refunded the money every time we go to the cinema, not just for the stupid teenagers, but for all the garbage produced in current times. It's like music, it's just crap after crap.

  15. Getting back to the point of the original post....

If you want L1 you will need something like the ExtractKeyMaster exploit. You will also need to find a device that the exploit will work on (ExtractKeyMaster was written for the Nexus 5/6 - but that device is now sys_id revoked).

Once you find a compatible device you will probably need to update the def.h file to match the locations of the keymaster/widevine apps and symbols.h to match the addresses of the functions etc.

If you want some further reading try these (in order):
