Hi ppl, some days ago i've re-installed XP from scratch and so re-installed all the softz i need 4 ripping etc.
Before that smartripper was doing its job at 7/8x (very very fast), now after the new installation (and after some aspi problems i had)
smartripper rip at 1,3x (very very slow). So while before it was ripping 1 dvd in about 20 min. now it takes about 57 min.
Is here somebody that could help me on what eventually should i check 4 improve the speed of the proggy?
I have win xp, aspi 4.60 NT (i've used forceaspi).
Hope u can help me...
Cheers

try and install the Latest ASPI from adptech. it is 4.7. and also check the DMA is switched on for the Drive. I installed the ASPI on my friends m/c win 2000. it increased the spead by 5-6X ie from 1.3- 1.7 to 6 - 9 x SO try that.
