This forum gets way too many hicks that show up and ask a question that has been answered many, many times before. It gets boring. We have help guides at the top that answer most questions; we have many past threads that answer almost all questions; clearly from your lack of response to my question you didn't bother to search. Why would you expect anyone to bother with you?

Hey guys, sorry for the necropost, but after reading this thread and the first page of Angela's brilliant Decryption: The Dungeon of Despair, I just had to give my two cents.

I am frankly gobsmacked by the patience and willingness to help displayed by every other poster in this thread. For the complete Python n00bs who kept asking basic questions that you would learn the answers to after an hour of Googling, or day 1 of a Python 101 course, my response would have been this:

"Go learn some Python basics, then come back here if you still need help. Or better yet, give up now, saving yourself and others from wasting a lot of valuable time. This topic is waaaaaaaaay too advanced for you!"

And re: the person asking for a DC invite...man...I just wouldn't have wasted a millisecond of my time on such a person!

But I guess I'm just a nasty little man that could never be a teacher or a regular helper on a forum like this. I just don't have the patience.

Anyway thank you all (especially Angela) for "giving me the pickaxe that's allowing me to ssssslllllloooooowwwwllllyyyyy tunnel out of the dungeon" so to speak
