Whisper engines in Subtitle Edit

I have the new Subtitle Edit installed. I'm trying out Whisper again. Medium model still doesn't run on a short clip (8 mins after 5 hours more or less.) I've reverted the to small model to see how that goes which I have success with.

On this SE there ia selection engine. I'm using just the default. Is there a preference or way to know which
is best-- in my case to get the medium size model running?

see attached screen shot. I don't recall seeing this selection on earlier Whisper routines in Subtitle Edit.
