Need help running an app

I had a patched app I was using on android studio but it stopped working a couple of weeks ago. Im continuing to receive all the notifications from the app, but it does not run

Error received:

Check your api configuration

The app is rejecting the http toolkit proxy settings[403: Forbidden] however if I set the proxy to null the app starts working again.

I tried SSL unpinning with frida but it still doesnt work and thats about as far as I know.

I asked around and someone(offline) suggested I run from the script directly. I dont know what that means.

Can anyone help me run the app on android studio?
