  1. I have read and re-read everything and I still cannot get a smooth conversion.
I have tried 3 movies and no luck. I get close though.
The movies so far have avi and converting them to vcd using TMEGnc.
I did Novacaine by the guides and after converting them they looked ok on Media Player but after VCDeasy and burning, the audio is slightly off and picture will jerk badly. Sometimes it catches up and then goes back out.
I've used VirtualDub, TMEGnc and VCDeasy to make the bins and cues, then burn with nero.
Have tried everything I know to do in TMEG but must be miissing something. I have converted using the avi sound source and making it a wave but no luck syncing audio and fixing picture jumping.
I know you guys hear this often but I'm stuck.
    Any help is much appreciated!

I have surely learned to use CD-RW now to keep from throwing away CD-R's LOLOL....

Did you burn the vcd's at a high speed? Don't go above 4x and try again as some dvd players have problems with discs burnt at a high speed.
If you still have problems stop using vcdeasy and try a program like nero, as i burnt a disc authored with vcdeasy it and it came out badly.

  3. I was thinking the same thing actually. But I put a few music videos files together I had downloaded and just did it with only nero and a few of those skipped in and out of sync also. Nero asked to reencode a few of those and they were the ones that were out of sync.
I'm gonna spend all day today burning a dvd rip in avi to vcd until I get one to come out right! LOLOL...
The one that came the closest was the one I extracted the audio and converted to a waave file, but it would still speed up and slow down.
OH by the way, I've been burning at 8x speed.
