I'd be grateful for any feedback from Windows 11 users who have the GV-USB2 or the USB Live 2.

    Do they still work OK?

I'm considering an OS upgrade from Win 10 to 11 but want to check if these gadgets still function on 11.

    Thanks for any input.

  2. Either works here.
Don't take this as a recommendation. I can only speak for my system.

Thanks Sharc, one report becomes a couple, a couple becomes a few and then we know.

Here the couple. I am on Windows 10, but have some friends using GV-USB2 or the USB-Live 2 with success on Windows11. Latest drivers version used for both.

Don't take this as a recommendation, I am just reporting from others (just checked their captures were ok).

Just bought this stick and it works with Windows 11 like a charm.
I just came across your thread about different driver versions and I am considering using 1.11, if this works better for VHS.

There doesn't appear to be any quality difference between the driver versions; the only issue is that with the 1.12 (and 1.14) version, 25fps is not available in the "Format Preset" list in AmarecTV, but it can be typed in to replace 50fps on the "Format" line.

  8. I upgraded to Win 11 a few months ago, and my GV-USB2 is working just fine. No issues at all. Haven't tried USB Live2 myself, but I've seen others say it works without problems too. I'd say go for the upgrade

    Thanks for reply.
Just checked the manufacturer site about version 1.14 but I think there was only something changed about the capture program "LightCapture".
