    here is my problem. i want to convert an .asf file to a vcd compliant mpeg file. i tried using virtualdub with asf support but it keeps crashing. i also tried tmpgenc but nothing works. please help!

    http://www.geocities.com/myasftools/ try repair, advanced repair, convert, etc. otherwise it could be a .wmv file... and if search for buzzinhornets in this forum I posted a solution for that as well.

    it is a wmv file. i tried using your guide on graphedit but the program keeps crashing. what do i do?
