  1. Hi, unfortunately I'm new to this forum . So my query is about capturing video from a Betacord Sanyo vtc5150. I have a Click & Convert transfer device, but don't have a cable that will fit the back of the video recorder. The capture device has yellow, red & white female leads, and a 5 pin female lead. The converter is Arcsoft Showbiz DVD 2. Can anyone help please? Thank you.

Hello! I know this is an old thread so you may have figured this out by now, but I think you need a BNC to RCA adaptor to be able to plug your yellow and white cables into the machine. These adaptors are available on Amazon. Make sure you get the ones that are “BNC male to RCA female”. You won’t be able to plug the red wire into your Betacord since the audio signal is mono only, but most capture cards will configure the mono audio so it comes out on both channels while recording if you just plug the white wire into the capture card. If it doesn’t, you’ll also want to get an “RCA 1 male to 2 female” Y splitter. Hope this helps!

That device is cheap Easycap/grabber junk, with infamous terrible software (Arcsoft), so that's 99% of the problem here. It's not quality whatsoever, and will output messy mush.

You can do better than that.

That's a PAL model, so the connection may be SCART that requires a breakout cable.
