Whenever I switch playback devices such as wireless headset or output the audio to my TV. MPC- HC ends up muted in my Window Volume Mixer. I'm running Windows 10 64 bit.

It does that so you don't a burst of sound when switching.

I should have been clearer. It happens when I turn on my Bluetooth headphones or switch my output to my TV. However, I'm not using any sound in the middle of switching. So, I guess it's possible that MPC is already being muted by something else.

Here's a solution you might want to try:

Open your MPC-HC player and go to Options (it's usually under View or can be accessed via O shortcut).
Inside the Options window, navigate to the Playback tab.
Under the Output section, try to switch the Audio Renderer to a different option. This could be either your default audio device or 'System Default'.
Click Apply and then OK to save the changes.
Close and restart MPC-HC to ensure the changes have taken effect.

This should ideally fix the automatic muting issue when you switch audio devices.

If the problem persists, it might be an issue with Windows 10's management of audio devices.
