Trying to get Open Video Downloader working on Windows 10 but on trying to download a video with it I get:

    "Error! Unhandled Error"

on clicking Show Full Error I see:

"ERROR: Postprocessing: ffmpeg not found. Please install or provide the path using --ffmpeg-location"

So I've installed ffmpeg into a folder called ffmpeg off C:\ and added that to the PATH environment variable but still no luck.

Note that inside the ffmpeg folder are three sub-folders - bin, doc and presets.

I also have youtube-dl.exe in another folder, not sure where to put that?

    Where am I going wrong?

  3. Remove 'FFmpeg' from disk 'C'.

  4. Hi ,

If you have a problem with this version in downloading the binary "yt-dlp", then try to download Open Video Downloader from here:

    https://github.com/StefanLobbenmeier/youtube-dl-gui/releases/tag/v2.4.8

if you have the following warning :
WARNING: You have requested merging of multiple formats but ffmpeg is not installed. The formats won't be merged

Then simply download ffmpeg and place it inside the "open-video-downloader" folder that was created by the application:

then restart the application and you should be fine:
