  1. Hello,
I'm looking to test multiple compression algorithms for a specific need, and therefore need to have a RAW video for this.
the video needs to be FULL HD, 30 fps, 10-20 seconds in RAW.

Is it something that I can find somewhere to download, or should I create the video?

If I need to create it, which software to use? my need is mainly for space stuff, therefore I would put an image of the moon that I would move slowly across the screen, it's sufficient for what I'm looking to achieve.
Thank you in advance for your help!

  2. I don't think there are any space videos but xiph has lots of uncompressed samples that are often used to evaluate codecs.

  4. Here's a high quality video I made from a star field image and a moon image. I added some noise like you might get from a camera.

  5. Alternatively you can use high resolution sequences (like 8..16k or higher) even lossy compressed and resize them to FHD to get "RAW" - should be quite close to real RAW - space agencies should have such footage
