Youtube - Live Downloading

Hello, dear all.

Please, how can I download this video from the link below? Or similar videos too?

When I try to download using conventional tools it fails. Some errors happens before the video can be downloaded.


Example: using 4K Video Downloader can get the video, but at some point the program get error before complete the process. Internet Download Manager only detect small videos from this link. Not the complete video link. youtube-dl-gui downloads only the incomplete video. And it takes a lot of time to do it.


How can I download such kind of videos / link from Youtube? And if its possible, faster? How to deal properly concerning such material?

A livestream isn't a complete video you can download. You have to "record" it for a set amount of time and save the output to a file.

Get yt-dlp and ffmpeg installed and use something like this:

yt-dlp --hls-use-mpegts --no-part "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfKfPfyJRdk" -o "video.mp4"
