    anybody know of a (free) program (chrome addon) which can download videos including subtitles, from free video site. I have tried streamfab with no luck.

    Well, I'm not sure if you're aware of it. Not surprised, it's rarely mentioned here, but yt-dlp and n-m3u8dl-re can do what you seen to be requesting. Granted they aren't chrome addons, but that's not really important, is it?
