Nero Recode: TS file to MP4 Problem

I try to recode a .TS fle to MP4 with NERO RECODE. At the end there is a "hang up"
(The TS file was recorded from TV)
But with NERO VIDEO there is no problem. Export the video to MP4 goes fine.
Has someone an explanation?

wild guess: issues with time codes, try remuxing the file using tsmuxer, mkvmerge or ffmpeg.
Using Ts-Doctor or similar tools might be a good idea too. Small bugs inside a ts file might not be visible during playback, but can cause issues during frame by frame decoding.

I think remuxing is not the solution. I want to know WHY nero recode cannot converse a TS file to MP4.
With NERO VIDEO it is not a problem. And with Format Factory also no problems.
Maybe it has to do with more as 1 Audio stream in the TS container.

Post a mediainfo report (text mode) from your video here.
Maybe a remux to mp4 without recoding will do.
Then you don't lose any quality.

Nero products in general lack a certain quality. you might be better served by following the 2 previous posters suggestions.

Nero Recode should create some kind of log of its operations. Have you found and looked at it?
Secondly, if you bought the product, contact Nero support.

If NeroReccode has no log or error message that explains why, the only one who can answer that is someone from Nero, so I agree: you should contact their support to know 'WHY' it can't do what you want.

Your video is already avc.
So there is nothing to convert to.
