    If the viewfinder's good, the only common factor is the lead.
    what kind of lead? the camcorder has yellow and black(black is mono audio)

    When pluggin the yellow from the camcorder into the yellow of the tv, should give good picture otherwise something is wrong somewhere… then further tests are needed to rule out things.
    Polaroid is not really the brand, it's Vestel, a Turkish product, also known in other countries for their tv's by Finlux, JVC, or RCA, on eBay boards are available for this model, i guess the camcorder works on other equipment normal.. concentrate first on finding a capture setup… the combo is also not a good bet to use...

    You're just testing the video/lead at this point. Don't worry about audio. A normal RCA male to male lead will do. It can be one of your normal audio leads.

    Just plug one end into the yellow socket on the camera and the other end into the yellow socket on the side of your TV. Make sure you select the correct input on the TV.

    It doesn't matter! It's irrelevant. Polaroid is on the side of the TV, that's all that counts.
