  1. I'm the proud new owner of a HM-DH5U. So far, it works flawlessly; the picture is excellent, the RW/FF/PAUSE functions all work appropriately, no remote but I ordered a replacement. However, I noticed that when the unit is off, I can hear low sounds, as if a fan is on or something inside is moving(?). The unit is quiet when it's operating. Is this an eventual issue or is the player known for being noisy? Any help is appreciated!

Any chance of posting an audio sample of the noise or a video inside the machine after removing the cover? As far as I know mine does not run the fan while in standby mode, I will check again and let you know.

  3. UPDATE: I left out some important details, so I'll update now in case anyone comes across this issue. My first use of the player consisted of me powering the unit on and playing a tape. When I powered it off, there was a "auto" prompt flashing on the front LCD screen-- and a low sound would emit, possibly a fan, possibly something engaging inside. I read the manual further, and according to it, you're not supposed to use it right away, but set up the time and program channels. I was able to set up the date/time with the aftermarket remote I ordered(no programming of channels), powered it off and the "auto" prompt went away along with the noise! Not sure why that fixed the issue, but it did and I am now a happy camper! Thank you @dellsam34 for taking the time to reply, there seems to be a small pool of DVHS owners out there.

I download a TV arrangement and attempt to put the 4 scenes onto a dvd. I utilize Winavi to change over the scenes to dvd arrange, all Ok, sound is fine when I check them. I at that point utilize either to encode the dvd's. it at this phase things turn out badly, having copied two or three dvd's before checking the dvd's, I found that the sound had left match up on the majority of every scene, by about a second or thereabouts, and completely through. When I have checked the yield on https://myhrkp.online/ https://flvslogin.online/ https://pointclickcarecna.online/ https://theranestlogin.online/ before consuming the plates, the sound was out at this stage.
