    I have this one, I almost never use it, it works well, but I could never get the audio inputs to work, the installation DVDs didn't work, the drivers I found on the internet same thing, not even in Windows XP or 7.

    Are you sure the card IS NOT defective
    Windows saying "This device is working properly" is almost-always meaningless and worthless.

    Just use the audio input on your sound card for audio.

    Also check your recording settings in control panel in the sound section,make sure the audio input you want is chosen as default.

    Yes, I do this. But I would like to solve this mystery, why these inputs never worked! It must be a board defect.

    Did you check the sound in control panel when you were trying to use the pinnacle sound outputs?

    Yes, i did all things you can imagine. What made me think is why the drivers that came with the DVD couldn't be installed, I had to search the internet for one that worked.

    I only got to install the drivers only from this page: http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/Hardware_Installer/readmeHW10.htm
