Help please....

just downloaded a tmd movie clip(avi file),WMP, throws up the message'this format is unsupported',so far I have installed:

3.11 alpha codec
divx 5.01 codec
smr codec

All with no joy,anyone have any idea,am i missing a codec,downloaded a few of these tmd files,all give the same error mesage.........TEL

FIRST try divxplayer
If you get sound and video. Then convert it .
But just to let you know tmd moves are usually only 20 frames per second and a vcd ntsc is 29.97 frames per second this means you will get a blotchy conversion. TRy to get movies from smr.
