  1. A few days ago I recorded a TV programme on my August TV recorder (freeview). All was going well until part way through the image started to break up (probably due to the bad reception). The image just broke up for about 2 seconds and all was fine after that. But when I imported the MTS file into Avidemux, at the point where the image started to break up it left a large gap between that point and when the image corrected itself, but for some reason I couldn't removed the remaining part of the recording or save the file as a remux. I'm guessing the break up in the picture has corrupted or damaged the recording. Is there anyway of fixing this?.

And while you are there, you can also use its editing features, or move to AviDemux or others.

  3. Maybe TS-Doctor. Or a quick remux with ffmpeg:

    Code:
    ffmpeg -i input.ts -c copy output.ts
