How are the recordings encrypted in the operators' decoders ?
Does anyone know whether it works on a similar basis as drm or quite differently I am looking for people who have any information on this topic

Digital Rights Management (DRM) is a broader concept that encompasses various technologies and techniques used to protect digital content from unauthorized copying and distribution. While DRM can be used in conjunction with encryption, it is not directly related to the encryption of recordings in operators' decoders.
