With a bad cable, I damaged this output of a mini dv camcorder, the metal parts... or the pins were crushed inside or raised. And now? Any solution or just changing this connector?

Note: This photo is just an example of good connectors.

Camcorders have firewire 400 4 pin, So that picture is wrong, and how can we help you when we don't know how the damage looks like?

I was out of the house, there's the real photo. I already looked with a magnifying glass, two pins seem to be raised and the other two seem to be retracted.
What solution could there be? By the way, I think I'm going to have to find a way to change this connector

Just use a needle and push the pins back to their position.

Yes, I tried that, but the needle I had wasn't very thin. I'll go after a better one, but aren't the pins already damaged?

I got a thinner needle, but it didn't work, pins broke. Really now I have to change the dv connector, it will be a complicated task isn't it? This cover I have to remove to gain access, fear of having connected components or cables. Does anyone have experience?
