  1. I have a licensed copy of Acrok Video Converter Ultimate, Version 7.0.188.1699. I started a conversation with Acrok support team
    11 months ago about the next release. The support team responded the planned upgrade was several months out. I kept checking
    back via email over several months. Acrok support informed me the update had been delayed but assured me it was due within
    4 - 6 weeks. I haven't had any replies to my request for several months. No one from Acrok support teams will acknowledge my
    inquires.

    Has anyone had a similar experience with the support team at Acrok? I really like their software but, there are areas for improvement
    i.e. H.265 conversion speed.

    Most users here use freeware converters that do a better job than paid convertors,doubt you will get any help.

    Software like that uses the same open source encoders and GPU encoders as all the free open source projects. It won't get any faster unless those encoders get faster. h.265 encoders are pretty mature and not likely to get much faster. The GPU encoders won't get any faster unless you get a new GPU. In any case, the industry is starting to move past h.265 so don't expect much more speed or quality improvement with that. You can always play with using faster encoding presets. Though that generally means less quality or bigger files.
