Use VP 5.1 to make a DVD with menus, pop it in my Sony and it won't play.

Make another DVD with VP5.1 and it will play!

Same DVD-R media, same burner, same type of menu structure.

Why will some play and others will not?

I also have a Technika DVD512 and if I put the DVDs that won't play in the Sony in it, it says 'Disc Error', but if I press the play button, the main menu is displayed and it works fine.

No matter what I try with the Sony, I cannot get it to display the menu. I can, however, use the program function on it and get it to play the various movie segments on the disc.

I'm beginning to think it's a VP 5.1 bug.
