  1. Hi,

I face a problem that is probably easy to solve, but I don't know how.
In Subtitles Edit 3.9.10, I try to break a line: I want the subtitles to be displayed on 2 lines on the same TV screen.

To do so, I place the cursor in the appropriate line of S.E., I hold "Shift" then I press "Enter", and S.E. indicates the break by showing <br /> in this line: see the "break in SE.jpg" screen capture.

The problem is that in the film with burn-in subtitles, the line is not broken, and "<br />" is displayed like if it is part of the subtitle: the line is not broken in two parts: see the "in the film.jpg" screen capture.

    How should i proceed ?

    Thank you
