  1. Hi,

I already downloaded the encrypted files with yt-dlp.exe, now I only need to find the keys for decryption.

I've been following cedric8528's excellt Android Emulator key dumping tutorial, and I was able to extract the clent_id.bin and private_key.pem files using frida.

After that, I followed this guide:
    https://cdm-project.com/cdm-tools/how-to

And while I can locate the mpd files and the license server URL ("https://widevine.tvnow.de/index/license"), and carefully renamed all the prerequisite files as the tutorial says, downey quits with panic: no init data found.

What could be the problem here? Any ideas? Thx!

  2. I don't know "downey", but from where should it get the init data (PSSH)? Do you pass it by input or does it try to extract it from the mpd maybe?

  4. Did you successfully download and decrypt the example URL: https://bitmovin.com/demos/drm ?

That worked for me, but for example Joyn (free version) doesn't. This URL gives me the same error:
    https://www.joyn.de/play/serien/das-internat/1-1-zimmer-roulette

It seems they are using a different mpd format which downey can't handle.

Specify --pssh manually and it'll work (at least it does with Joyn).
