avidemux disable auto-append?

I have a series of videos that are same file name start, and sequenced by number, such as:

filename - 1.mp4
filename - 2.mp4
Etc..

When I open #1 file, *all* files are auto-appended, and I cant find a way to disable in Avidemux 2.8.1

I only want to open the one file... BTW, I am calling in a script and running a PY script for encoding...


Any ideas?

If you are running a script perhaps you could have it move the one file you want to work on to a separate directory. Alternatively you could modify your script to use ffmpeg rather than Avidemux.

I ended up doing a file copy to a work directory, encoding from there then deleting the file in my batch script. No biggie, but I cant believe there is no way to disable auto append..
