  1. In After Effects is it somehow possible getting Target File Size. Like say I have a 50 minute 1080p video. How can I make this say EXACTLY 900mb ? The bitrate settings dont make exact file size possibly

  2. The definition of bitrate is:
    Code:
bitrate = stream size / running time
    Hence if follows that
    Code:
stream size = bitrate * running time
The file size is the sum of all the streams and a little overhead for the container. If you can't do the math use a bitrate calculator.

  3. Also for most encoders 2pass encoding is needed to hit a specific file size

  4. But as far as I am aware in After Effects there is no way to normally enter a custom bitrate like there is in most programs

  6. Use a bitrate calculator to get the bitrate that will deliver the size you want.
