70mai Dash Cam A400 files

i have a dash cam, model 70mai Dash Cam A400. It captures in 3 minute intervals, which produces a lot of files. The files are in .mp4 format. I would like to covert all those files into 1 big .avi format video.


Can someone suggest how to do this? I tried Virtualdub and ran into problems.

What problems did you encounter with VirtualDub? Did you try VirtualDub2? It should have worked.

I tried virtualdub2. It worked!! The audio was choppy/broken up, though

Can you provide two or three consecutive files that show that problem when concatenated by VirtualDub2?

Another GUI program you can try is AviDemux. Also clever-FFmpeg-GUI. FFmpeg should be able to deal with the files too -- but it's a command line program.
