    In this scene the eyes of this character take on a blue cast - not just her eye makeup but the eyeballs have a blue cast. Is this likely a deliberate effect or some kind of optical bleed over or just a result of the particular lighting used?

    Same actress in the third screen shot different scene, no blue cast.

  2. Third scene uses totally different color grading,...
    I would vote that this is a color grading side effect, no clue whether this was wanted or not.
    (seems to me that the first scene simply uses higher blue values,.. https://cinematography.com/index.php?/forums/topic/91109-whites-of-the-eye-go-blue-aft...or-correction/ might be interesting)
