    I have heard that there is a piece of software that can correct interlacing
    problems when rendering out from Premier/After Effects etc. I believe that the problem relates to mismatched fields. If anyone knows of the software and how it works, iwould be very grateful for any info.

    Virtual dub can be used to deinterlace video.
