    I'm burning a VCD for a friend using Nero 5 and it asks me which version PAL or NTSC... does it matter which one I choose?

    The VCD is going to be used in N/America.

    woah that was quick ... the top says wait a day or two. last time I believe what I read :P

    ummm... I don't know what the originaL file is. but I'll go with NTSC if that's the standard in N/America.

    You shouldprobably use ntsc but ifthe file is already in pal format I think your going to have to convert it to ntsc. I"ve never seen NERO ask which format. look at this guide

    we were righting at th same tim yes the standard is ntsc for north america

    NTSC. However I think all VCD players play both PAL and NTSC anyway. Not sure if conversion is automatic like it is in mine though.
